Description
This is my cat! I love her to bits! Her name is actually Syrup. My parents named all their cats after conserves: Treacle, Treacle II, Syrup and Honey. Heheh. Noone in my family can remember why / how she got her nickname. I think I named her after Garfield's teddy....
She's 21 now! Old cat...but she still has plenty of bounce in her spacky step. In this watercolour, I made her head a little too big and her legs smaller, so anyone looking at my painting can view her in the way that I do - a kitten at heart!

Update 2009
My darling cat has passed away. I miss so much sometimes I cant help but cry.
Because we were moving to Canada we had to decide what to do with our cats. We spent a lot of time and money trying to set them up so that they could come out with us, but sadly in the last months before they were due to be sent out their health deteriorated. Pookie became so frail she could hardly move and Honey lost her sight completely. It was very distressing to see them go downhill so quickly. So we had to make the painful decision to have them put down. At 22 and 21 they had long and happy (maybe that should be spolied ) lives. A vet came to our house and they fell asleep never to wake again.
Rest in Peace my sisters. We will remember you always. xxxxxxxxx
