So...where to start? I have an AU and it changes a bunch of different stuff, basically a mix of what if Darktail was the one who died and the other kits survived, and a rewrite of the story of Onestars Confession.
Like I said, Darkkit dies, and I imagine that he had two sisters, the ones who died in cannon. In this AU he dies, and Minkkit and Pouncekit(Names of my creation) survive. I'm actually going to set smoke living in a twolegplace near the lake, and Onestar meets Smoke after becoming leader, and after he's mates with Whitetail. I'm going to change it to where he's ONLY friends with Smoke, but se has feelings for him. He insists they only be friends and that he has Whitetail. That's when she admits that shes having his kits. He rejects them originally, but she follows him to WindClan, Onestar, trying to cover up his involvement with her, allowes her to stay in the nursery, but says nothing about his fathership of the kits, and Smoke says nothing as well, but she watches Whitetail carefully as well. Right before the kits are born, she has a fight with Onestar and he tells her to leave, half way back to her twolegplace, the kits start to arrive. She gives birth without difficulties, but one of her kits die, she grieves but goes on back to twolegplace after burying the kit. She realized that the twolegs will probably take her kits away, and turns back, arriving again back at WindClan, and tells Onestar that she gave them Clan names, for him. Minkkit and Pouncekit. He begrudgingly accepts them, and Smoke. Once they are made warriors, Pouncewater and Minkfrost, Smoke, chasing prey, runs onto a thunderpath, and is hit by a monster(that's where her cannon death comes into play) Pouncewater and Minkfrost, on their first warrior patrol by the border, find her body, and are crushed. It is then, at her funeral, when Onestar admits to being the kits father, and apologizes for keeping it secret for so long. The two of them, who never knew, are shocked, and Whitetail is(rightfully, and how she should have been I cannon in my opinion) pissed with him. But when he explains the whole story, she quickly over time forgives him, and kind of becomes their honorary mom. Yea long story, I'm a write it eventually, but here's Minkfrost. She is carefull, loyal, and ambitious, she is kind of shy and antisocial, but she does want a mate and kits. She's short, chubby, plump and fluffy, more leaning towards how I'd imagine Smoke. She has Onestars tabby markings(vaguely) but I color shifted them slightly gray for a bit of Smokes coloration as well.
