i do them no justice ;^;i had a hard time figuring out how to color the sesame, since their hair isn't just brown in some areas, some of the red hairs are dark brown-tipped. it'd be easy if i wasn't doing just flats, so i settled with this. if you don't like it, whatever- don't tell me.
these are just four examples of the shiba colors, all of the above can be a different hue, with more white, or less. with these, i tried sticking to the standard markings, especially with the b&t since that and the cream/buff colors are my favorite. i hope to get a b&t one day X3 anyway, this was mainly an experiment because i'm planning on making a picture Mellie's littermates all together. i'm designing two girl shiba inu characters right now, a r/w and a chocolate toned b/t. :3
but thats for another time.

Thats so cool! Shiba Inus are my favorite kind of dog, so I think that this is really cute! Like all the different colors, but I'd have to say that the Black and Tan one is my favorite! ^^

I think this is the CUTEST ever. Would you allow me to print it out and give it to my mother for her birthday? She has a 7 year old sesame shiba named Kitsu. He's awesome, and she just loves him to bits.

Of course! <3 Teh shibas are love. But- yeah. They're dogs for experienced owners or people who know what they're getting into. Her family is hardly the one for the dog. ^^

But not only are they for experienced owners- the breeder didn't strike me as very good. Didn't let them see the mother (just the father) and was telling them how all white Shibas are born with defects... Watch for her. She's Cintara Kennels. ^^

i luv this picture! u did such a great job! we have a sesame and a cream, and we foster for the Midwest shiba Inu rescue, we have like 4 fosters in our house along with our two! lol! but we love em so much so it's ok. that breeder is full of it. They are not full of defects,(our cream is perfectly healthy, except a bit of extra weight! lol!) but as u said, they are definately not AKC accepted. You REALLY have to be careful with the breeders you go for with shibas, most of them are puppy mills(A LOT of them are puppy mills actually) you have to make sure that they are ONLY breeding at the most 3 different breeds (obviously not together..) because if it's more they are usually a puppy mill, not always but usually. If they are breeding creams you should just keep away, cuz as much as i luv creams (our lacy is a cream and we luv her to death!), that is definately a sign that they're a bad breeder. Overall i reccomend rescue tho, cuz we get so many in, mostly from ppl who buy one from a pet store (never do that either, almost all of those puppies come from puppy mills) and realize that the shiba is not a golden retriever(definately like the opposite, lol), it's actually kind of horrible how many we get from those ppl, i mean u'd think u would research b4 u buy a dog, but w/e...or else we get them as strays, cuz they door bolt, or puppy mill releases.
now that i'm done with my ranting.. i luv yer pic, especially the black and tan, they're my favorite! lol!
