The Queen of the Sea is on display now at The British Museum of Natural History! On loan from her private collector!Wanted to draw a mermaid in some peril. I always feel bad for Beta fishes, in those under-stimulating cages. At least here, She had a treat. She looks pretty mad though.
I thought using a ship's flag as a top would be a cute idea. Originally I had wanted it to be a Jolly Roger, but the folds didn't show off the idea well.
