Some attempts at an expression sheet for my Undertale OC: REDA little background on the thought process behind this
I tried not to think of a standard 'expression list' since it is easy to fall into a stereotypical 'set' where the expressions just look generic.
Instead I tried to draw the *feel* of the expression. It helped to think of some of the characters quirks, for example, RED is a very VERY curious creature, she is also a highly alert predator so most expressions lean towards being 'wide-eyed'.
It is very rare for her to completely close her eyes except at total rest.
It also helped the drawing of these expressions to think of the types of noises she would make, or things she would be saying alongside the expression
