Okay wow, it's been a while hasn't it? So apparently things have changed and now stuff is replaced with emojis and stuff. I don't know how to fix that except to make it all emoji and/or use some arcane Unicode symbols. Also I do realize there are still some weird problems such as the H thing and etc.

I love to fix everything really but unfortunately I simply do not have access to the original program I used to make this anymore so I can't do anything unless someone wants to decompile the swf and change things themselves for me. I'll be learning Javascript soon so that's going to be the way to replace this. I apologize for this inconvenience. Simply put, I would not use this as an 100% reliable converter.

So basically, due to how the embedding works, when you convert your characters to the Wing Dings, you'll mostly see your characters as blank boxes. Don't worry, this means nothing. Just copy and paste them and you'll see the characters as they are supposed to be. If some still appear as boxes, then consult the Troubleshooting section.

ALRIGHT NOW HAVE FUN, however, I still recommend that you read the How To section but I can see that you're simply too eager to bother. I can understand. We all have things to attend to. Unless... you do care?

What Is This Thing?

Well glad that you asked, basically this is the Undertale Wing Ding Converter. The reason why I specifically called this the Undertale converter is because it only pertains to the Undertale specific use of the Wing Ding characters which is specifically Wing Dings(the original) with ALL CAPS. You will not be seeing any mailing letters, fancy ampersands, or zodiac symbols of any kind because those derive from the lowercase letters of Wing Dings. Undertale uses only the capital letters and so will I. Got it?

Next, I'd like to remind you that these aren't the real Wing Ding characters as that's its own font. What you're seeing here are their Arial font approximations. For example: www.alanwood.net/demos/wingdin…
Since Arial is the main font of the web, in order to show that you're speaking in so-called Wing Dings, you must use that font. If you already realized this, then, uh, good on you.

Regarding my character choices, I tried go for picking the bigger characters so that their specific details show up better on the small default font size as well as try to stick to things that most computers would be able to show up but sadly I can't please all computers as some simply can not process these characters themselves. Sorry if these don't show up for you. You're really missing out and I feel bad for you. ;_;

Hopefully this wonderful contraption will give you what you desired. Please share it around or make comments about things. Maybe suggestions too. Whatever is on your mind I guess. Enjoy.

How To

Okay so, it's pretty simple. Basically there are two main buttons as one of those buttons have sub-buttons. The lighter one indicates what setting you're on and is unclickable as the darker ones are clickable. Clicking one will switch the settings accordingly. Then, there are the input and output boxes. The input box is at the top as the output box is at the bottom. Once you put whatever you wanted in the input box, click the convert button to get your output. If you put in a long enough text, your converted output text will go beyond the boundaries of the output box. If this happens, simply right click, click "select all", and then copy and paste the text afterwards.

When using "Encrypt Wing Dings", the case of your letters do not matter as they'll all convert to the respective Wing Dings character.
The Encrypt Wing Dings have special sub-buttons that allow you to alter the spacing of the output result. The default option is on "NS" which means "normal spacing". Basically any spacing you do will be as is. If these puffy characters look unpleasing to the eye and you'd like to put some autospacing in between them, then click "3S" or "triple spacing" instead.

When using "Decrypt Wing Dings", it's where you can take these Wing Dings and finally understand what those elusive Gaster RP accounts are blabbering about. You'll notice that they come out in all caps. If this is unpalatable to you, then, eh, I guess you'll have to deal with it.

Troubleshooting

The characters within in the editor show up as blank boxes for me.

Yeah... you might want to look "special characters are not showing up", "Unicode characters are not showing up", or something of the like. It just means your computer doesn't have the proper font data to show these characters up as it may be time for an update.
