Drew this on paper an entire year ago, wow, time flies. I drew the actual digital piece around Valentine's day, so like... 2 weeks ago?Anyway, I'm a big sucker for these two, they're just... agh. Patton and Janus are actually my 2nd fave and 3rd favorite characters from Sanders Sides, respectively.
But, anyway, this would take place sometime shortly after Putting Others First, when they're still getting used to one another as friends. Janus seems a bit ooc, honestly, he prolly wouldn't show that much vulnerability but it's okay, cause I can take artistic liberties and it's probably more of a metaphor of Janus being tentative about friendship while Patton is like HI LETS BE FRIENDS ((all my other friends hate me right now youre my only chance at happiness)). So like. Yeah, it's all totally a metaphor and that's why it doesn't matter whether it makes sense or if they're 100% in character. I'm probably overthinking this, just take my art or whatever.
