Description
Hellloooo. today I bring you part 3 in the unfinished series of images. I still have plenty of unfinished drawings that are waiting in my folder to be compiled so I may upload another one of these sometime soon to give you another glimpse at some of my unrealized ideas.1. This was something I shortly did afer drawing "unleashing rage". It would have had a sort of a similar visual trope as that drawing did, with the figure sort of "melting" from the portal above it. I kinda ended up feeling that it was kind of a bland pose and I really wanted some summoner sort of character there too, which was not really possible with the current POV.
2. Aurora borealis! One of my favorite celestial phenomena alongside just plain old clouds. This was kind of a speedpaint which I didn't really follow up on. I really liked the perspective though, with the northern lights being almost directly above, but I felt the composition was a bit, eh.
3. These were stream silhouettes that I did around 2 weeks ago, just did some silhouettes and then gave two of them some values. Now that I look at them in hindsight I have a lot more ideas where I could take these. I guess that is the wonderful thing about silhouettes, you make them and then later come back to them and your imagination fills in the gaps in a completely new and different way!
4. I think I did this when it was late at night and I wanted to draw something. I felt like experimenting with some slanted ground/rocks. Didn't really like the end result as I wanted it to have a bit more of something.
5. This one I lifted directly from that one pose dump I did, there was this one particular pose that reeally stood out for me. I liked this one, but just kinda didn't have any ideas what to actually do with the pose at the time.
6.Another speedpaint made in a stream! This one was inspired by a night sky that I saw while driving back home from work. Just kinda wanted to try to recreate what I had seen. Very much acknowledged that it is way dark.
7. Couple of dudes lost in a place corrupted with amalgamate. This one I intended to finish, but just didn't have enough time, o no! So it just kinda went into the backburner and never came back, RIP.
8. Look out, it be dragon! Pretty much the same story as with 7, liked it, got put into the backburner and was forgotten as I got other drawings to make. I got pretty far with this one and I think I did most of this during a stream too.
9. I am honestly just including this because I spent like 40 minutes on that gun, made it all tacticool and stuff, it totally needs a scope though and a laser sight and a flashlight. It is a gun that is mostly illegal and was used for a period of time by law enforcement to take down some heavily bioaugmented baddies.
10. I can't even recall what I was really thinking when I did this one, I think I just kinda felt like drawing some rolling hills with some light beams and then got frustrated, haha
11. Dude standing on a building in a neon city, did this right after I did 12, which is why the color scheme and everything else isn't such a clusterfukk as I learned from my mistakes in 12.
12. I had a pretty cool idea for this, a cybercop dragon dude running towards the camera probably chasing some bad dude. Well it kinda got all sorts of messed up, the values and the color scheme are honestly all over the place and I just kinda didn't want to work on it anymore after wasting like an hour trying to fix the colors, auuuugh!
13. A werewolf trying to get his car out of a ditch! Haha, just kidding, but that is honestly what it looks like. This one I also did during a stream. I was initially gonna abandon this sooner, but someone wanted to see how I went from grayscale to color so I added some color to it and went a bit further on it than I intended.
14. This one was a quick 30 minute thing that I just went along with whatever that came to my mind. Just started with 5 white lines that turned into sort of light coming through some sort of prison bars. I kinda like the overall idea, but the creatures silhouette is kinda boring.
15. Another landscape speedpaint, it has been awhile since I made this, but I think it was one of those evenings when I just wanted to create something, anything!
16. Yaaagh, it's an amalgamate! This is probably more than 2 months old so I barely have any recollection about this. I am pretty sure this one was also one of those things that I made when I just wanted to create something.
17. These were some interesting one tone silhouette practices. start with a black silhouette and then make large brush strokes with a colored brush inside those silhouettes to block in the shapes. It was an interesting idea and I may find use for this technique someday, I mainly included this because of the dude in the lower left corner who is totally laying in a pool and giving you the finger.
18. Cute lil fella! This is a baby plains strider, a creature that appears in the world wherein majority of my illustrations are set in. I am fairly sure I am going to come back to this!
19. This one was going to be a sequel to the drawing "general Granis" with him about to get real mad after some bad dudes killed one of his comrades. I was gonna finish this, but I got distracted and went to draw that other sequel to the drawing.
20. I actually kinda like this one, this one was another one of those weird conceptual images and I guess I abandoned it because I thought the perspective and composition didn't work, but now that I look at it I feel like I could finish it up!

Looking at these, I just want to say that it's really a sign of a great artist when you can look at a very rough blocky piece but get a very strong atmospheric feeling from it. You may say the composition doesnt work on some of your art here but I feel like you have a great sense for it, color, and perspective.
