A FFVIII banner I made for Final Fantasy Forum . Do stop by and say hi, we talk about so much more besides just FF.

There's No bad quote on this banner, couldn't think of anything FFVIII-like not that a quote was necessary anyway.
I think the initial challenge of this banner was trying to figure out how to get the orange in there, without it being something random that was just part of the border and that's it. As I progressed the idea of using fire came to me hence Seifer summon a fireball and Edea forming her own. Originally I was going to use Ultimecia, but that pose sold me on Edea, her hand was just perfect for holding a fireball and the image already had an orange hue to it. Not to mention the amazing picture of Phoenix being summoned that I found.
