Honestly, one of my favorite and most well done paintings. I was inspired by the fully-painted close ups they sometimes do on Spongebob, and also in Ren and Stimpy.Regardless, drawing a trashed, depressed, and angry Spongebob is very entertaining.

I like to think of this version as gritty, extreme, and hardcore rather than depressed and trashed. I like your take on Spongebob.
I hate it when people trash the show. Spongebob can actually be very dramatic. I remember Spongebob choking Mr. Krabs and calling him a crustaceous cheapskate over a lucky dime lol. His eyes bulged out of his head and he damn near hospitalized Krabs.

wow i love this, it really does remind you of the close ups that they somtimes show. all it needs is a few more holes and i think that it would be perfect. nicely done

This brings up one of many weird questions: How the hell old IS SpongeBob? He owns his own home and is old enough to "boat" and hold a job, but he cavorts like a four year old. Is it just some sort of weird arrested development or something?
