Flashbacks to 2014 at the speed of fucking light, ahaha.
SO. Way back when, I’d drawn a situation between a predatory deeper sea mer (John) catching a shallower sea mer (Dave) and keeping him like a rather vicious bitey pet after eating him doesn’t sound as appealing. He’s interesting. I never expanded the idea past that, but the concept stuck in my head, and I’m proud to see a lot of improvement.
