Winter wonderland made me think ice skates.. and figure skating!! SO, figure skating AU Loose narrative behind routine: prince spies a phoenix and tends to it while it recovers and they fall in gooey romantic love before it needs to take flight again, but it stays and eventually the prince gets old and weak and they both go in the fire but only one comes back out.
loose narrative behind them being a duo: dave had talent as a kid but bro pushed way too fucking hard bc hes a dumbshit like that to the point where he stopped for a few years.. but he couldn’t just walk away entirely from something he loved doing so much, and he loves bro too much and trusts him and only him as his partner for big stunts and he likes being a showy shit.. so they patched up and now dave’s the bossy one running the show, and Bro’s the muscle that helps fling him around so they can wow everyone. :V (He also makes all their costumes himself.)
