Overrated? hahahh, if so... she's 'overrated' for a real good reason!
Man, i don't think any other character in steven universe is any more developed than Peridot.
She's just the perfect example of an insecure person finally getting to understand what's really important and how is feels to be appreciated.
She's charming, freaking adorable and funny,, curious little not knowing alien. And i'm always amused watching her fail and being annoyed. I never get enough of her. literally
She also had a big role in many episodes and part of the more deeper long lasting stories through many episodes in a row. And the latest one being about her development.
You're pretty much supposed to like her! makes no sense going all "meehh she overrateddd i see her everywhere uuhnenen she sukz"
She's not "overrated" just because you don't like her silly

It has super positive messages!
No religious pressure.
It has NO stereotypes what so ever.
No race stereotypes. (Like all 'black' characters speaking in Southern // other cartoons)
No body pressure. All types of bodies are included without mocking or stereotyping any of them (Example: "LOL big person being dumb" // other cartoons)
