Keep trying man, was this image requested specifically or were they just looking for a piece containing the characters? The characters are a little stiffer than I find your usual stuff.

I think that they want to look exclusively "classic and old" or something. I think that your style doesn't fit.

I feel so sorry for this missed opportunity. I would have granted you this big chance so much and just hoped the best for you as soon as I heard of your application.
I also watched some of the steps of making this picture here, like the pencil sketching. It was fun and amazing to watch.
And I love Cuphead (even though I haven't reached the end of the game yet) and animation of the 1920s and 1930s, so that is also why I like this piece so much.
All I can do now is giving this artwork a
