It is always damn interesting when people list minor characters (or underrated major characters) as their favourite. I am just saying to get that out of the way...
Second: I think I brainhumbed you with your latest visit at my place, because it's "Basil" not "Basel" 
And: The character himself looks very well drawn, you have a talent for recreating cartoon characters and also Disney characters who even become more interesting looking that way
However, I'm not sure if I would have chosen that black background, too. It's not a complaint, just an opinion.

A very underrated Disney henchman---probably the only one that ever terrified me as a child. Dude had some serious jumpscare skills XD
