Description
after looking at a lot of olde-tyme alchemical drawings, so i decided to try to make my own. i'd say i did reasonably well, for a first (and possibly final) attempt. the piece itself is based off of the alchemical writings of Sir George Ripley, or at least how i interpret them, particularly his work on the Philosopher's Stone. this is the reason for the title "Creatio Ex Corpus Ruber", which translates to "Creation Of The Red Body", another name of the Philosopher's Stone. i'll leave it up to you, viewer, to determine exactly what this image means. enjoy! and as always, if you like what you see, be sure to check out the rest of my page!
