Apparently, that trip trough the vortex granted the Pink Puffball new move for him to play with. It's called Mouthful Mode and whenever Kirby enters this state, he can inhale a sparkling object where, instead of being able to swallow it completely, he will stretch into the shape of said object. In this state, Kirby gains certain properties based on the object inhaled. Huh. Neat.
