I painted this to express the mental pain that this high work load from school (mainly from my art class which I do not like) and my wishes for summer to return. It also symbolizes the memories I have about staying at my grandparents for art lessons and catching fireflies in the evening, I miss those days so much. Also the way fireflies sparkle and glitter reminds of stars a bit.
