World Rework: The History of RanchorIn the beginning, as is usual of all creation stories, nothing existed. Nothing but the one true god, Eve of Creation. Eve was of smoke and gas, with millions of stars in their eyes, and empty galaxies in their hands. They held their hands out, and thus created a fiery blast that forged nothingness to something, and forged within the ripples of strength and magic was a belief, intertwined with the determination of the god themself. And within this belief, more split off of it; Prosperity, Peace, and Life. Prosperity stretched her young limbs, and observed the black skies. Life and peace had done the same, and thus the three young gods looked to Eve. Eve spoke of the rules to the young gods:Do not create without reason. A reasonless world is a lawless, chaotic world.Do not partake in the lawless destruction of worlds and races without consideration of the power it could release. And all must worship Eve, The Creator. The three gods swore on their lives that this would be followed, and thus the four gods created the world of Rachor.Eve forged the lands in stone and stars, spreading carbon into the rocky soils. And thus dirt was formed. Life held the dirt within his hands, and gave being to the first plants, and animals, as well as the blue skies. Throughout this the first souls were formed, and yet were faint flickers. Prosperity held these spirits to her bosom, and gave them the will to survive; reproduce, but also feel the world change around them, and hunt. In the midst of Prosperity, Death had arisen, but was weak, and so did nothing but hide under the crust of the world in the true darkness. Eve and the three young gods knew of Death, but felt as if Death had a place, and lived without war. Finally, Peace showered the land in law, and organization, thus creating a stable world. The realm of Ranchor thrived. Eons passed and the world grew steadily, booming with life, yet death was ever present. The young gods and Eve soon grew restless, as more Death happened amongst the mortals, showing that Death grew stronger. Death created diseases such as Corruption, with its newfound power, and soon took over the minds of some mortals with their evil magics, to wipe the other gods from the world of the living, and into the hopeless void of darkness. Eve created the first humanoid creatures to combat this new disease; Elves, or as she called them; the Entorin. Entorin were of the greatest healers and combatants, born to be resistant to Corruption. Death became enraged, and cursed The Entorin to never reproduce, which in turn made Prosperity their arch enemy. Prosperity went to life, and begged them to create an alternate way of reproduction by making another species, yet Life was reluctant. It was one of the rules; To worship Eve. And to worship Eve was to remain a loyal and pure servant, thus they could not do anything without their word. Prosperity grew frustrated, and finally took the problem into their own hands. The god sacrificed their own life to create a species to assist The Entorin in reproduction that all resembled Prosperity themself, known as The Humarians. The Humarians soon found and assisted the dying species of The Entorin through experiments of Magicka and souls. The Entorin became strange, the skin becoming that of a beast, and mouth moulding into that of a snout. Soon they looked like the beasts they hunted; large and terrible with hundreds of teeth, and digitigrade legs like a prehistoric cat. Eve became angry at Prosperity for doing this, but could not recreate Prosperity. Prosperity had now become one with the mortals. Life watched the endless turmoil between corruption and The Entorin, as well as the newest species known as The Humarians, who could reproduce with any sex of the same species and create fertile young. The Entorin, meanwhile, all had no sex, so therefore found a way to reproduce by forging two souls together to create living offspring that bloomed from large flowers and buds. The Entorin and Humarians prospered, leaving Death with the struggle of what to do now. He could not harm the two races because of Prosperity's life force within both, and so instead he decided to steal away one of the two and modify it to become his own. This stolen away Entorin was named Vorkin, and Vorkin was a very extraordinary Entorin, with three souls used to create him. This made The Entorin adult stronger than average, but slower, and therefore easier for Death to steal away. Death took the Entorin into their bony hands, and snapped their bones to reform and reimagine. The body became scarred, and with an exoskeleton around the chest, neck, and face. Vorkin then became a minion willingly. And since the process did not harm or kill Vorkin, Death had succeeded. Vorkin had been blessed by Death to be able to create his own minions from creatures, so he cursed wolves to become Lycanthropes, and humarians to become of hellish descendants, creating the newest species known as the Demonoids. Demonoids swarmed the lands and created a heavy conflict between Death and Eve, so Eve and Life created a final species, but there would be strictly only five of this species, for they will never die of a mortal wound. Only of old age, and could pass down their powers to others, as well as the species title itself. These people were known as The FiveBlade. The Fiveblade each had a sword capable of killing the gods themselves, and yet they were loyal to the gods, and would never harm Eve nor her companions. They were sent to guard The Entorin and The Humarians from Vorkin and his armies of Lycanthropes and Demonoids, and soon found that they themselves needed their own armies that could equally rival their own abilities. Eve ignored their prayers, but Life did not. Life felt as if this needed to happen, and broke the rule they so fervently believed in when Prosperity was around, and ignored Eve. They grabbed raw metals from the ground, and the blood of the Demonoids to forge thirty shields, six for each FiveBlade. These were simply known as Sixshield, and the Sixshield all were a unique species specifically created, that would freeze in time if the FiveBlade passed on, eternally protecting the sword itself. The SixShield species were known as Planar Guardians. FiveBlades rejoiced and praised Life for what he had done selflessly, and Eve for allowing him to do so. Eve felt betrayed by Life, and the two bickered amongst themselves. Peace tried to get them to stop, but in a fit of rage, Eve tore Peace apart, and tossed their remains into the waters and ice atop the mountains. Thus the peacekeepers known as the Dironda were formed. They were the counterpart to the Humarians. Dirondans took three forms; the wanderers of the tundra, sailors of the sky and dwellers of the sea. The Dironda seized the wars, and stopped the opposing sides immediately. Death felt the strong sense of betrayal, and so he removed his presence, leaving Vorkin to the mercy of Eve's creations and worshippers. Eve, staring down at her people, felt a strong sense of rage. She felt hurt and unloved because of the lack of rule following. There were less than five and they still broke them. Death sensed this, and even though he remained deep in the darkness, he reached out, and created a stronger form of Corruption, known as Daemics, which seeped into Eve's mind, changing her heart to absolute evil, and hatred. Eve turned against Life, and tried to kill him, so Life ran to the mortal world, disguised as a humarian, and remained deep within their communities as an inventor. To this day none know which Humarian Life was. Eve did not give up. Feeling the evil seep into their every limb, Eve targeted every mortal species, and the world shook with divine rage as they bore down without thought. Death soon realised what dreadful mistake they had done, and so he came out of the shadows to assist the mortals against Eve. Eve pushed strongly against Death, and Life had a plan. Still disguised as a Humarian, Life gathered two Entorin, two Diron, two humarian, two Demonoids, one fragment of Death's soul, and one fragments of their own soul, then they combined them to create the ultimate creature. They named it Sentience. Sentience was cared for by Life, and was the greatest judge of fates, with Life and Death part of their body. They understood survival, and destroyed whatever seemed to cause an imbalance. Sentience was trained in the ways of mind and body, since magika would only cause the possessed god to gain more power.A war of a hundred nights and a hundred days rang out in the air; a fight between mortal and god. Soon the god Eve had fallen, thus Sentience poured their godly blood in the soils, and ate the body. The blood dripped off Sentience’s snout to the mortal earth, and the first of many golden flowers bloomed, slowly taking a whole hill. The species that survived soon gathered; The Entorin, The Humarians, The Demonoids, FiveBlade, SixShield, Lycanthropes, and The Dirondan. They swore an oath to forever guard the world of Rachor from those who plan to harm it.A deal was made with Death and LIfe as well. One would rule the skies and give blessings to those they know will have great futures, while the other will bring the dead down to the crust of the earth, and care for them all, instead of killing them off, so they can use the souls again, thus preserving the magic within the elder races, and creating the cycle we rely on now. The seven species who survived were known as The Elder Ones. They now protect the younger species that have sprouted up from natural evolution, and ensure traditions are present in their own kin. Sentience and Vorkin still wander the lands to this day....
