Rouge took her shoes off so that they wouldn't get full of sand. Shadow observed this and did the same. He put them and the backpack on a little ledge on the cliff just above the beach.

"Hey Shadow, can you put my stuff up there too? I don't want it to get all wet," Rouge said, handing Shadow her shoes, shirt, and pants. When Shadow saw the clothes in his hands, he blushed slightly and tried to resist looking up at Rouge. But his male instinct got the best of him.

"Why are you in your underwear?!" he said involuntarily as he looked up at Rouge. His face got redder and redder until he looked away from her.

"I told you, I was going to wash up," Rouge said, giggling. "Honestly Shadow, it's not like you haven't seen me with less than this on," she added with a wink.

"Oh. R-right," he said awkwardly, and went to the ledge to put Rouge's shoes and clothes away.
