Former coworker Cheryl Lynn was so nice.

She worked in a different department than I did, but any time we saw each other or interacted, she was always so smiley and kind. Genuinely cared about what you did on your vacation, or what movie you had rented on Friday night. Yes, her feet were large, but also stood 6’ 2”, and never did she wear sandals or anything revealing that I could remember.

It wasn’t until she left the company that I heard she had liked me, and with our age gap, (7 or 8 years older than me), our social circles never crossed paths.

This must have been in 2018, so about 4 years after she’d moved to a new employer, that we ran into one another and caught up on our newest endeavors. And she was wearing these sporty sandals! 😉
