Cool. It wouldn't been great if SataAM went for longer than 2 Seasons.
Ben Hurst (SatAM Season 2 writer) did say there were plan to introduce Knuckles in the later part of SatAM's third season, but the show cancelled before production on Season 3 could begin.
Hopefully, SatAM will return for it's well deserved third season. There's still a fanbase for the show. It could happen with the original SatAM series being released on DVD, early next year. The DVD sales of the original SatAM series will probably go through the roof. It's still popular to this day, even though it does reruns as often as it should. Thank God this show still has a loyal fanbase thanks to the internet.
That's just shows there's still a fanbase out there.The show wouldn't be getting a DVD release if there wasn't a demand for the show. And with confirmation that a SatAM movie, which is in the works, SatAM could still return with new episodes. Many SatAM would love to actually see how Season 3 would have unfolded, instead of talking, and reading about it.
You just never know.

Well there was a floating island in SatAM during the "Blast to the Past" episodes but it wasn't Angel Island, it would of been cool if Knuckles was in SatAM but it just wasn't to be.
