Hey there! I'm a Red-fan Parrot, and yes, I've got a fabulous “fan" on my head to stay cool. Some folks call me the Hawk-headed Parrot, but honestly, I don't see the resemblance. I hail from the stunning forests of the Amazon. My ancestors were first spotted by Carl Linnaeus in 1758, and we've been charming bird enthusiasts ever since. I munch on fruits high up in the trees and, as an introvert, I like to stay hidden. I do enjoy a good chat, but I need a little time to adjust to new things. So, be patient with me, okay?
