Description Second version of Pattern 32T
Leopold Tarski submitted his design of Automatic Rifle in 1932. His idea was to put the large left over stocks of 6.5mm Swedish cartridge to use, the smaller power of the cartridge was to be made back by fast rate of fire.
Unfortunelly his first prototype had experienced frequent jams and overheating problems, as well as the whole construction was pretty weak.
Unbothered by that, Tarski started work on improved design and presented it in 1933.
This one was much better, new construction held together nicely, rifle had improved cooling that solved the overheating issue.
The jamming problem was solved by shortening the cartridge to 50mm, simmilar to Fedorov Avtomat in 6.5x50mm Arisaka.
It didn't completely kill the whole idea of the rifle, as Tarski's cartridge was made by modifying the bullets themselves.

Army looked at it again, and this time had better review, but once again rejected it due to one problem, it wasn't in standard service cartridge - 7.92mm Mauser.
They wanted good standarization in firearms and just weren't that excited to invest into brand new cartridge, even if it was just modified one, there were many much better things to put money into.
Also, they already had light automatic weapons in form of Pattern 29 Light Machine Gun and PM-31 Weksjo Submachine Gun, the thing was just unnecessary.
1 unit was bought to keep at a display.

But it wasn't the last time Tarski presented automatic rifle...
