Ever since he was a kid, Zephyr has been terrified of lightning. Or more specifically, booms of thunder! It just reminds him of the time he got stuck out in a terrible storm for hours, cold, lost, and alone.

All that came rushing back when the ball lightning started going BOOM! Poor thing. He hid for a majority of the class, and even when he was coaxed out by Netty's gentle hand, he never really got a good hang of the ability. Lightning is just not Zephyr's thing.
