Description
The mess hall, by name and by nature.A sixteen layered original stencil commission, which might've been fewer layers if I had bothered to mask off different parts of a single stencil to apply different coloured elements, of a family's food fight...no meat on the table, as they're vegans!
20" by 8" by 1.5", stretched canvas.

I have to agree with ~Margenal entirely. I would buy this if it was a print. <3
But why do I hear this weird "Wryyyyyyy" sound inside my head? X'D

Aha, I had to do a little google to find out what the reference was but yes, I can see why.

question, though. How'd you do the scroll-work on the background?

I cut a pattern and tiled it across the canvas, approximately 12 times; doing that saved me having to cut a stencil the entire size of the piece

Cheers, Aero, this took the majority of a day to paint with all the paint drying it involved, hah!

Hah! I'd imagine, someone needs to invent insta-dry paint, I build models every once in a while and waiting for paint to dry is a pain.

I stick to using matte paints, so they tend to dry a lot quicker than gloss but aye, a lot of time is spent watching and waiting...resisting the urge to touch fresh layers.
