Physical Description: Khepri doesn’t look too different from your average fox, other than that they are currently very underweight. In their youth, Khepri is rather lanky, paired with legs on the shorter side, serving to make them look a little disproportionate. Khepri has a relatively small head, paired with a long thin muzzle and big expressive ears.

Khepri had a rough young childhood and, as such, has grown up with some very fatalistic views. He believes that everything is out to get him, and that nothing anyone does or says will change the future in any way. It is all set to happen, and expecting different is, well, ignorant. As such, he’s very timid, afraid to stand up for himself. After all, his mother left him, and he sat and starved alone, so why should he have confidence? Nothing he does matters anyway.
It probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise to state he’s very moody. Although he tries to be a happy little ray of sunshine, and has his moments of true happiness, sooner or later his lack of confidence in the world begins to show yet again.
He is very private, not looking to share his thoughts and feelings with many. In fact, this drifts over to an almost select-mutism. While Khepri is definitely able to speak, and does so well, he simply feels more confident keeping to himself. So, unless you’re someone he miraculously trusts and cares for, I wouldn’t expect to hear him speak often, or loudly at that. This ties into him trying to be nearly invisible. Quiet, the opposite of bold… Khepri doesn’t leave much to see. He aspires to be someone that no one pays attention to. To drive this all even further, he’s absent-minded as well. He doesn’t pay much attention to what’s going on around him, and won’t remember much of what he sees anyway.
This is especially tragic, as he is, in fact, very curious and intelligent. He learns easily, and retains information on what he’s interested in… If you can get him to that point. His kindness still drives him despite all of his hurt, and his tolerance is exceptional. I mean, why judge others if you already know you can’t change anything anyway, right? Still this does make him a good choice to confide in if need be. Khepri is a place without judgment and a kind heart.
It just so happens that his own heart is eternally hurt.

Pre-Group History:
Khepri has lived a small, simple life thus far. It was just him and his mother, a young fox by the name of Livini. Livini had never meant to have a litter, and it came as some relief that her litter only consisted of one single kit; Khepri… And Khepri was a simple child. He didn’t cause trouble, and always listened to his mother.
They had a quiet life. Too quiet for Khepri at times. But they didn’t admit it, because he was meant to be the easy going, relaxed child. Someone who wasn’t a problem. Still, the days he spent alone with his mother out who-knows-where, doing who-knows-what… It became lonely. Khepri didn’t have a life outside of his mother - being far too young to leave on his own, after all. In fact, some days it felt like Khepri didn’t have any skills whatsoever, social, survival, or otherwise.
As a way to deal with his excessive time alone, Khepri developed a very absent minded nature - the mind of a distracted daydreamer. His curiosity and cleverness never faded, but were simply hidden behind this mask. The mask he used for so long to cope with his loneliness.
Even despite this, his mothers pessimistic and fatalistic views bled into his own. Though Livini’s belief that fate was set in stone was because of her belief in the Gods, Khepri simply believed it just was. He never believed in the spirits, but forever took on the mindset that nothing would change, and it wasn’t worth fighting against fate.
As sad as these thoughts made him, it was only solidified in his mind when his mother stayed away for longer and longer periods of time, until she simply stopped coming home. Khepri grew frail and weak, unsure of how to feed himself or keep himself alive… Thankfully though, as fate would have it, his rescuer would come to his aid in the form of a wolf. One, that Khepri now believes was destined to find him.
