Another commission for the ever astounding TabsPsyche!This time around they asked for a little change of pace: An illustration-based commission as opposed to a character design!
You miiiiight remember the playing-card themed characters I designed for them last time.
The gist of what they asked for was an icon that featured each pup. Initially, they pictured something static, but I kind of went overboard and made them a gif as well as some static variations with part of each of the faces visible. The animated ones were my favorites, though.
Since I drew each of these individually, the gif is actually quite a bit larger, and I treated each frame as a separate illustration, fully shaded and detailed. Obviously, the full resolution and individual frames, as well as the .psd file, are accessible to my patrons, so toss me a dollar if you want to see those. There's also a lot of bonus illustrations I've finished over the past couple of weeks that haven't been uploaded anywhere else. It's fun stuff, I swear.
Real talk, I'm super happy that a lot of people have started showing interest in my new digital stuff! I've never considered myself solely a traditional artist, so it's great to do more varied work now and again. Thanks so, so much for your support, mate!
