Note: Please do not critique her, she's exactly how I want her to look and I'm happy with her. So anyone telling me otherwise won't accomplish anything on your part. You will just be wasting your time because I won't fight with you.
Ultimately decided to give Crystal Key a brand new look. And StargazerSammie was kind enough to let me turn her and her children into her gorgeous gemponies~ FYI she's based on a white opal which have beautiful iridescent rainbow coloring. <33
So here is the new Crystal Key who is no longer a princess, and alicorn, or even related to the Equestrian Kingdom anymore but she is now the mommy of Sunset Opal. I'll be posting her children soon and her husband Midnight Opal Obsidian Sword when I find a base for him. :3

Personal History: Crystal is the child of a gempony mare and her regular pony husband when the former traveled to Canterlot to offer her wares in the grand kingdom. The two met when Pearl Stardust met with Princess Celestia and Treasure Trove was one of the princesses guards for the day. The two hit it off and Pearl decided to stay in Canterlot and they had Crystal Key. Crystal grew up in Canterlot and even went to the school for gifted unicorns but she always had an urge to explore and when she was old enough she left Canterlot behind her to travel Equestria.
Early in her journey she encountered a small abandoned nest of Dragon eggs with only one lonesome egg left behind. She took it in and helped it hatch into Emril who she raised during her travels. She became a makeshift ambassador to dragonkind which is how she came to find her talent for using crystals she creates to focus powerful blasts of magic. She continued her journey through the kingdom encountering dragon populations of various kinds and in exchange for some carefully made and tasty gems she managed to form a bond of friendship between ponies and dragons alike making potential travel for ponies in such areas far less dangerous.
She and Emril eventually decided to travel to the Gempony city where her mother was born and decided to settle there for a while. It was there that she met her husband, Midnight Opal. Together they had Sunset Opal. And due to some unintended magic spells she had a few more daughters along the way.

But even out of all those white and rainbow ponies this is the best I've seen! I've seen so many rainbow ponies and almost all of them have WAAAAY too much going on. Sometimes I can't even tell if it's a pony or an accessory rack! But Crystal Key and even Rainbow Tear are just the right amount of rainbow and amazingly enough, have nice, soft colors, yet they don't carry so many confusing items or unnecessary whatevers.

Yeah, I understand. Most of them are garbled with items. I prefer all my ponies simple. I only have one with an actual outfit. As they say, less is more. XD

Simple is easy on the eyes, and outfits aren't bad as long as they don't glow or are completely engulfed in rainbows. xD
