History:

Born in the Pirate’s Crescent Caleb lived his childhood partially in a rowhouse with his mother and brother, and partially on the Deadly Opportunity with his father. His older brother left him to become an officer in the Redmoore Border Navy, leaving him to inherit the Deadly Opportunity after his father died in a failed port raid when he was 22. Among his first crew were Stan and Herald, two drinking buddies he had made when he was 17 and had already accompanied him on several small adventures in the Pirate’s Crescent. Two years after the start of his Pirate career he decided to become a Privateer, as the expenses of ammunition, maintenance of his ship, repairs, medical supplies, and general supplies was more than he anticipated. As a Privateer, he would be able to get most of these if not for free than at a nicely discounted price. At the start of the series he is working with his brother as his connection to Redmoore and his main targets are ships from the Guild State of Indrion.
