Delja, also known as Auntie Delja or Nanny Delja, is a female senior member of the Rabbod species, and is very supportive and caring of her younger sister Cordelia, who is basically the queen of the Rabbod species, being married to the leader of the entire species, Orion, and is the mother of Marina, commonly nicknamed Big Momma, Kai and the youngest of the three siblings, Coral. She is naturally very sweet and lovable towards her nieces, being a very caring and playful aunt, and has a particularly strong bond with Kai, who is a transgender male. She constantly encouraged him to express himself and be happy with what he wants to be as a Rabbod, and also encouraged him to go through with his desire to get gold piercings. Along with her bond with her nephew Kai, she has an equally strong bond with Marina’s adopted human daughter, Rae Rae, whom she is very gentle and playful with, and as such, she is often chosen by Marina to look after her when she’s busy.
Delja was conceived by her parents, her mother Malvina and Tuar, sometime in late 1849, being born sometime in early 1851, being the first of four siblings, consisting entirely of females who are her sisters, and they consist of her, Cordelia, Ikaika, Katina and Lynn. Delja, despite being shorter than her sister Cordelia, standing at 17 and a half feet tall in comparison to her sister who stands at 20 feet tall, is exactly 19 years older than her taller but younger sister, who is 154 years old, being 173 years old in human years, which means she’s around 67 years old in Rabbod years.
Delja loves piercings, particularly gold ones, which is obvious with the ones on her right ear and belly button. She got these piercings in mid-1984 after she learned of the idea and concept of piercings in human culture, getting her own specially made pair. The one on her right ear is that of a massively simplified skull with an orb on its head, meant to symbolize the celebration of her growing old, and finally, the ones on her belly button don’t represent anything, and are just there to look cute and sexy. Her golden right tusk was made as because for many years, after she turned 34 years old in human numbers, her tusks naturally fell out in the same manner as baby teeth, but while her left tusk regrew, the right one wouldn’t, as that side of her mouth has a, ultimately harmless, birth defect that prevented any new tusk from growing in its place. When she got her piercings, she took the popular to have a shiny gold tusk installed, and to this very day, she wears it proudly. She’s noticeably very chubby and round, especially in the tummy region, which is a result of the combination of her multiple pregnancies, as well as her massive love for consuming and eating large meals, contributing to her soft and squishy, but still muscular, appearance.
Delja is in a polynamorous relationship with her two husbands, those being Aalto and Marino, who are very loyal, hardworking and kind Rabbods. With them, she had five children between 1969 and 2003, the first being born in late-1969, a boy named Earwynn, the second in early-1976, a girl named Anaya, the third in mid-1989, another girl named Muriel, and finally, two twin boys that would be born in early-2003, being named Barbeau and Irving. Even when the first three have grown into young adults, she still cares and nurtures them, even trying her best to pamper them. Since her twins are still very young, she takes time out of her day to teach, play and feed them so they grow strong, and she often chooses to do this herself so Aalto and Marino can rest and take care of hunting and caring for their older children, but despite this, they often go out of their way to help her, even though they don’t necessarily need to.
