John Mathew’s story is kinda long, so I’ll summarize it like this: John is the son of the late Black Dagger Warrior Darius. He attended the Black Dager Brotherhood’s Training program with his best friends Qhuinn and Blaylock, until he, Qhuinn and Blay had joined the war against the Lessening Society during the Raids, and event when the Lessers were led to all the houses of the aristocracy by Lash, a member of the Glymera, and John’s bully.

John is the most recent fighter to be inducted into the BDB after Qhuinn. He’s married to his Shellan Xhex. And his sister is Beth, Wrath’s Shellan. The Queen.

John is unable to speak verbally, so he has to communicate via American Sign Language, but he doesn’t need words to express how loyal he is to his friends and Brothers.
