I always drew the mercs in a cartoonish art style because they were "too realistic" for me to draw. For some reason I never thought of using the comics for reference so I spent some time yesterday just tracing to get some shapes right and then attempted to draw Scout from memory. The sketch of this was the result and I colored it after thinking it looked really good!
