Eelkit was born to his biological mother, Reedcatcher, on a crisp leafbare morning. It was a difficult pregnancy for the she-cat; he was the only kit born alive in the litter. Pondstep, her biological father was not interested in raising a child and refused to meet Reedcatcher to help raise Eelkit. A week later, the warriors from the rebellion returned from their exile and the apprentices delayed from the rebellion finally rank up. Reedcatcher, in deep emotional stress from both her pregnancy and the return of the exiles, only cared for Eelkit for a moon before she disappeared into the night, never to be seen again. Eelkit would soon be taken under the wing and adopted by Tempestrose. Eelkit had never really had any interactions with other cats; Reedcatcher only spending the bare minimum time with Eelkit to keep him alive. He was excited to have a big family, but he was nervous of what they'd think of him. Only time would tell now, but Eelkit is determined to make a good impression.
