Description
Sometimes death sucks just a little bit more than usual. This is one of those times.
If you haven't already heard, H. R. Giger died.
Giger was, at least in my opinion, one of the most unique, innovative, and creative artists of the passed century. Honestly, I'd say of all time at that.
He's one of my favorite artists and biggest inspirations, and if you've ever looked at his art, I reckon it's hard for any person appreciative of art for him not to be.
When it came to visual artistry, the nightmarish dreamscapes and characters he created were undeniably some of the most creative.
I actually originally created this as a gift for a good friend of mine, and they were as bummed out to hear he'd died as well.
And since I didn't upload this already, it seemed wrong not to upload it now.
Whether or not you know it, among the Metal music fandom, Giger's always been beloved and respected for all the badass album arts he's created for bands.
So here's my tribute to Giger, with one of his most iconic creations of all time.
Giger's striking art style, usually of the surreal, biomechanical, and erotically macabre flavor will never be duplicated to the same effect that he managed and captivated and freaked people out with.
Xenomorph design created by H. R. Giger.
Alien franchise is owned by 20th Century Fox and Dark Horse Comics.

I hole he's in a better place, the alternative is rather frightening.
Great job here.
