Upon meeting Peridot, people will see a woman on the go. Always seeming to be on the way from one obligation, or project to another. She has the air of a person who wants to go somewhere and be something. In speech and mannerism, she's direct...not making time for too many niceties...though that isn't due to any ill will. She simply has a goal and she's always been one to pursue it, wholeheartedly if not single-mindedly. That isn't to say Peridot is self centered, she often wishes to pull people along with her, if she believes it will help them, often motivating others like herself not to give up!

Though at times, it can feel as if she's wearing that steadfastness as a mask. Underneath her confident, driven persona is a deeply insecure person, nursing grave injuries to her sense of worth. She can't stand reminders of the past and considers herself a 'different person' from her younger self....,but can't ever shake the doubt that she's not come far enough...still feeling the presence of the broken, hopeless Peridot of yesterday. Despite it, she fights on with a fierce face...to show the world and herself that she's someone to take note of....while desperately trying to erase the past.

History:
[TL;DR] An injured dancer, spirals into a depression, then further compromises her values when she joins the cult of a beautiful yet monstrous creature. After the fallen angel purges its cult, only she remains to face it. Offered with a choice...one made under duress, she makes her wish known. Now, she has a fresh start...and refuses to be the sad pitiful person she once was. Now things will be different. However...now she has a debt.

*Relationships: Peridot previously had connections to many people
-Cobalt, her cousin and friend since they were kids. Very lax and a bit of a clown, but extremely talented.
-Her mother Jade, busy, successful and a bit out of sorts...but extremely loving, despite not having custody.
-Helena, a good friend, though lacking any of the ambition peridot had. Her only interest was the occult...and it paid off...sorta.
(All of these bridges have been burned in one way, or another...Peri is starting completely fresh. For better, or worse.)

*Trivia:
Her father is a mechanic, jovial and boisterous, but tempered by a hard life.

Peridot doesn't actually know what she wished for. Her memory goes hazy after that point..and at several other key moments in her life.

She now coaches at the studio she's begun to spend most of her time at.

Peri works extremely hard...but she also spends her one free day to party equally as hard.
