Appearance >
They are a brown-black MudWing-NightWing hybrid of solid, square-ish stature. Their eyes look like moons due to their irises’ shocking white colour, which makes it seem like they’re glowing compared to their dark scales, and make their stare a bit unsettling. They have black seal-like spots streaking over their body. Their underbelly is lighter brown with streaks of differing shades all throughout, and their wings are striped with darker brown, while the underside is a shocking white, streaked and speckled throughout with dark brown. The typical NightWing spines that go from their head all the way down to their tail form into short, spikey “sails” evident of a drop of SandWing ancestry somewhere in their blood. Their horns are grey, brighter than their scales but not as stark as their wings or eyes. Their eyes are usually lidded, and they have bags under their eyes. Their front claws are stained with ink.
They wear a bag with supplies over their tail as well as a flower secured to their horn. (The flower can be any flower; have fun with symbolism >:3)
Scars > Their palms are scarred and their face has a strike across the nose and over the lip.

POWERS >
PAST SIGHT (EXTRA): Moon Power. The ability to see into the past.
FIREBREATH (MAJOR, WEAKENED): The ability to breathe fire, significantly weaker than that of a standard NightWing or even MudWing. It is only capable of dealing some minor burns where the average dragon’s firebreath would cause a devastating wound. The majority of its use comes from simply lighting campfires or torches, or generally just maintaining internal heat.
REJUVENATE IN MUD BATHS (MINOR): The ability to heal wounds at 2x the rate of other dragons if significant time is spent in mud baths each day.

Moonbit had a somewhat isolated childhood, being taught basics by their family, but went on to attend a small Sky Kingdom academy. She graduated with great results and got recruited into SkyWing military training, specifically focusing on investigative work. They honed their observational skills there, the ability to keep a straight face and not give away what they’re thinking, as well as focusing more on physical training, since their firebreath is naturally weak. Their training also helped their innate affinity to tell what dragons are feeling and thinking. They learned about SkyWing law and related criminal workings there, so they know the basics, but it has grown faint with time.

After absconding from the Kingdom, Ruin spent years wandering the Pyrrhian continent surviving on their own, which helped sturdy up their survivalist skills. He isn’t the best at it, but combined with their accelerated MudWing healing and natural constitution, it was enough. Their exploration of ruins and abandoned settlements has given them some ground knowledge of Pyrrhian history/archeology, but no theory.

They had little guidance on their prophetic powers growing up due to having no seers in their family and having few NightWing peers, and they had no idea they were visions of the past until a year into serving the Sky Kingdom. While they’d love to be able to read their visions better, especially considering their factual nature (which is something that highly interests Compass), they haven’t been able to progress too far on their own - they had never even told anyone else they were a past seer.
