She lives in Mountainfrost's group, she's one of Wildflower's best friends, though Cardinal doesn't like her, nor does she like Cardinal. When her and Cardinal are together they will often fight, Pinecone trying to get wildflower on her side, and doesn't enjoy playing with Cardinal because she 'ruins' it. She can be rather selfish, not knowing she's wrong, but she can be playful and friendly if she's in a good mood. When she's angry she doesn't typically think before doing and it's easy to get into an argument with her.
