Buzztle, the Turtle Beetle Pokemon. Bug-type. Slipstream ability.
Hunting underwater, Buzztle have voracious appetites and will eat anything that qualifies as food. This includes berries, small fish Pokemon, other insect Pokemon and even plants.
Buzztle's wings are large and undeveloped, they can't be used to fly yet. Thankfully they double as a makeshift tail allowing Buzztle to swim efficiently. A waxy substance coats it's shell from birth, allowing it to withstand Water-based attacks.

The Slipstream ability allows the user to ignore all Water-moves and also doubles the Pokemon's speed in Rain.

Buzztle is based on Squirtle, obviously. But the reason I chose a Bug-type for the Convergent Pokemon is because there are Turtle Beetles that use a waxy substance to coat their shells. It's their poop. But also this is based on a Diving Beetle, which I am absolutely gobsmacked they've never done to this day. A diving beetle Pokemon? It writes itself!! The wings sticking out is based on some insects that keep their wings extended rather then folding them in, this is also referenced in Slither Wing's design.
Anyway, similar to the other starters, Buzztle is a Pokemon that evolves into something resembling Wartortle then something different.
