They said 'draw your favourite scene from the Harry Potter books.'

And here it is.

I love this scene, and it's probably one of the main reasons I loved Deathly Hallows so much. (Trust me, it wasn't the epilogue that did it.) The line that I've quoted above gave me shivers (it's on page 175 in the UK version, btw. In the chapter called 'The Bribe' seriously, and totally confirmed everything I'd always thought about Lupin. Being a werewolf isn't just for the full moon. It's a daily struggle. In general terms, it's always been one of my favourite themes of the books, how Harry is slowly discovering the different ways in which all the adults around him are completely fallible.

So, the pic. I wanted him to seem wolfy, for obvious reasons. I'm really proud of how it turned out. The way he's standing, it looks almost as though he's going to pounce. And it's scary, because he's usually so calm and collected and so together ... but this is one mild-mannered wizard that you won't like when he's angry ...

Anyway, character belongs to JKR. Enjoy!
