So ofc Cheriee and Ren still have to go to wyngling school, Alice gave them a pretty work to do, for that they could also go to the library to get some inspirations from the books, and maybe even get some candy from Iset or Giacomo.

Alice challenged all the kids to give some good prizes to the wynglings that got the most candy from the class. Obviously, Cheriee and Ren want to get a prize from her, and so Alice told the kids to go and made theirself some costume.
Buying one would be unfair and wouldn't be able to get a prize anymore.

And for the rest of the day they could spend in creating their own costume and collect candy as well. For the next day, they must come with their costums so every kid in the class could see that.
Both Cheriee and Ren went to the library and picked some books about warptide with the hope to find some ideas.
Thry both knew, Silvia coulf have some texture at home since eshe used to tinker plushies back when she had her sight.

While searching, Cheriee found a book that caught her eye. On the cover was a head of a wyngro that looked like her, just with a longer neck and mane.
She decided to take that with her.

At the reading corner. Ren had already found a bunch of good costum that previous wyngrew had worn.
Cheriee was focused on reading the book. She still wasn't pretty good at reading and she had lots of difficulties in that.
Just first sentence took a long time to read.

She remembered her mother used to have books, but she wasn't allowed to see those.
Maybd this book could be the answer of what she really is.
She already knows she's different from the others. She knew that Alen and Audrey are quills. Quills that could fly and glide sithout wind magic. She also used to hear about some wyngrew that could breath under water, but hasn't met one before. And she.. well she never saw a wyngro like her before.
What could she be? And does she also have something special that resembles her "species"?

While trying to read, Ren screamed to her:" Eey, Cheriee!"
"Shhhh" could be heard from the far. " it's a library, be quiet!!"

Cheriee. What about if go candy hunting as a tree? Or spider?.. hmm what about this cutie bug. Pa..paddle..paddlepillar??

Cheriee?? Are you listening to me?" He whispers.

Cheriee shook her head:" huh? Yea I totally agree with you."
" what are you reading? If I may ask?" He asked and walked up to her to see the book.

" there are no pictures?? What is that?"
" ey?! Did I asked you to see that?" Snapped Cheriee

" I am sorry.. I didn't mean to.." she dropped her ears.
" it's ok. But tell me, what is that about?"

" I don't know. I just saw the cover and the picture looked like me.. well not exactly, but it has the same nose and that armor thing too... and hair like that...
I..I just takes me to much to read this.. I can't finish one sentence" she explained

" what if I help you with that, let me read it"

" oh! That's not so difficult. Let me read it for you"

" ... well.. thanks I guess.."

Some minutes later.
" and?.. what does it say?" She asked.
" well. It tells about the imperial wyngro. Also called as Imps. They're not very often found in wynsiph, and the features to identify them are they long noses, neck, armor plates on nose and arms and the mane that grows longer when they reached adulthood."

" I..Imps?.. does it mean. They are rare to find... am.. I rare??"
