Here's Peridot,
when thinking of what to base her off of I thought an alien monkey
because she's intelligent but can also be silly at times, then I found out she was actually tiny and those limbs were enhancements, I tweaked the idea and it turned the design to looking bio-mechanical and it accidentally ended up looking like a xenomorph alien. It looked nice so I kept it anyway
