Better known as the Seafloor Canine or the Cthulhu Wolf, this Titan is primarily aquatic. There are numerous Cthulhu Wolves living in oceans around the world, but make no mistake. They are dangerously aggressive and their large size makes them especially dangerous. However, it has been observed that most of these wolves are in a state of hibernation, some of which have been asleep long enough for entire ecosystems to have grown in them, forming coral reefs and kelp beds. However, depth charges released into the waters in the Pacific during GvsK awoke one of these Cthulhu Wolves, the one seen here, a female. In her state of hibernation sickness, she swam far from her usual territory, for months, and made landfall on Madagascar, thousands of miles away from her home. There, she was shot at by the military, leading to a destructive rampage as she reacted violently to the attack. She was defeated and driven away, but not before she was tagged with a sonar tracker, and affectionately named “Hydra” by Monarch’s scientists. Hydra moved back into the sea, but never returned to her state of hibernation.

Layer on, Monarch discovered that the Great Barrier Reef of Australia actually sits on the remains of a Cthulhu Wolf that was killed some time ago.
