This was a What If? I did for War Dogs. In War Dogs, Alexis is killed by Hugo for protesting against an invasion against the city. In this AU, Alexis miraculously survived the beating that was meant to kill her and K9 brought her to Tabytha, a medic who managed to save her life. However, Alexis became blind due to Hugo biting her eyes and Tabytha was unable to save her eyesight. Alexis would remain in Tabytha’s care and became a medic herself. K9 would be the only one at the time aware that Alexis was still alive, due to his fear that Maximus would force Alexis to come back, despite her pain.
