Hombrew Mermay Challenge prompt 30 Mersona. You gotta add yourself in there somewhere.

Last year this time I had my mersona surrounded by aquatic versions of my pets. This year not all of them are with me. Boris, the bearded dragon, was featured last year as an eel. November 2022 he never woke up. My precious, beloved dog Ruby never made it into a drawing. December 10th 2021 she had to be put down due to rapidly degenerating hips and lower spine.
This year I wanted to continue the theme of my mersona with my pets...but this idea wouldn't let my pencil try anything else.
Josette (blue) and Petey (green) are my parakeets as little rays. Fish is well, Fish. Needs a special bubble to be in the ocean. Granted he's almost 10 and pretty sure that little guy is incapable of dying.
And of course by fluff-angel, Tatania. I feel if she had the capability of higher thought she'd be the most attuned to how I feel and do something if she could. I hope it is many, many more years before she gets featured in a picture like this...
