not that i think my comment will influence you, but this is probably the best piece of freehand i've ever seen.
the subject matter and depiction of it are so well combined, that one would think you simply traced a photo of the actual creature. hats off!

This is incredible, i absolutely love it. By far one of the better Deviations I've seen in a while. You're style is super tight with sort of a silverstri flavour with jim leeish shapes (good thing imo). and the lighting is perfect, it wouldnt be half as interesting or emotive without it.
