If you're wondering what "Nailed It!" is, the concept is basically to recreate something, a craft, a recipe, a cake, etc. and fail terribly at it, it's a phenomenon that has been around the internet for some time, there is even a show on Netflix with this premise and is tons of fun (You can watch the trailer here to understand it better.)
On our first Nailed It Challenge , we asked you to recreate a cake! But this time, and since it's DeviantArt's Birthday, we have decided to change the rules a little...
Your mission, if you decide to accept it, will be to recreate.... *drumroll*...
Re-create Fella! Use the materials of your choice!
That's right! This time the challenge won't be limited to just baking, use the materials of your choice! Here are a few examples for inspiration, made with different materials like newspaper, sculpey, crochet... but feel free to use whatever material you have at hand!
Take a picture of your creation, then submit your entry by commenting on this journal with the thumbnail or link. Only comments in this journal made before deadline will count!

There will be 1 prize for the "Best Replica" - given to the best looking entry, the one that approximates the most to the original, and 3 more, given at random from all the valid entries. So even if you think your creation looks like crap, don't worry! You might still be able to win something! After all, kind of the point is precisely to have fun, even if you f*ck it up!

- Recreate Fella using whatever materials you have at hand, paper, cardboard, plastic, fabrics, molding paste, even food, etc. and using the technique you want, crochet, stitching, origami, baking...
- For plain entries to be valid, they will need to be made using different materials, like a collage, not just a simple drawing or it won't count!
- Your entry must be new, so nothing submitted before this journal was posted will be eligible to win.
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, use of materials, presentation and how close it resembles Fella!
- You can enter as many times as you want, however you can only win one prize.
- Deadline is Friday, August 30th.
