I love Jensen Ackles,but I still like Alex more.
If they were to make Homecoming a movie and he was the actor....I would die.
Jensen Ackles belongs to himself? (HE SHOULD BELONG TO ME!)
Alex Shepherd belongs to Konami. (I WANT HIM!)

The first link is Alex's original design,I think, he looks a lot older there. He looks more like him: [link] in that picture to me. Grrr. >.< The only thing I would change about Alex is make him a little more youthful looking. He is only supposed to be 22,but he looks more like 28+.

Yeah, true that he looks older, but maybe basically he was when they started to make the designs.? Lol. When I was following the progress on the thing, I was like, OMIGOTT Alex is so KickAss, and when I played, I was like..... hey? Where's the Alex I saw on the drawings? But he's still nice

I don't like SH2,from what I've seen so far. I feel it is a fairly good game,but to me...James...is meh. Okay. I'm eventually going to look up "Let's Play Silent Hill 2",but for now, I don't feel like it.
If people were to ask me the only similarities between James and Alex is : They were both in denial about leading to a loved one's death.
I mean, yeah, the whole Josh thing IS a big part of Homecoming,but people just notice that and automatically assume the whole story is like 2,but they forget all of the other kid's who were sacrificed and so on. I also refuse to say Alex really killed his brother. I mean, isn't there is a difference between messing around with someone on a boat and them falling into the water and suffocating someone with a pillow?
Sorry, I don't mean to sound like I am ranting, because I respect your opinion, just like I would like you to respect mine. ^^ I'm not trying to be rude at all.
Also, I keep hearing people say "WHY IS PYRAMID HEAD IN SILENT HILL HOMECOMING? HE HAS NO PURPOSE THERE!"
There are a two theories that make sense for Ph to be there.
1.He represents Alex or Josh. (Makes sense since he never is hostile towards Alex) and kills their dad, which could show Alex's anger towards his father or even Josh's anger towards their dad, because he treated Alex badly.
2.He is there to punish there dad, plan and simple. I mean HE CUTS HIM IN HALF! If that isn't punishment, I don't know what is.
There is one thing I don't think anyone can really disagree is that Alex IS a good character, and I'm not just saying that because I love him. He is unique is his own ways. (I love his lazy eye. XD) And he has an AMAZING voice actor, who truly sells the character, if you ask me.

Ow I respect it, your opinion I mean. And I understand. And yeah, Alex didn't kill his brother on purpose, it was an accident (or he just didn't kill him at all, depend on the point of view) That's true that Alex is unique, but the main plot, if you had to make a single sentence of a couple of words, it would be the same (or almost) as Silent Hill 2. Maybe they haven't copied and still it's a really good plot, but cause I had already played SH2, the plot of SH5 was so pretictable loll. So saddly. And yeah, James has absolutely no personallity, but I don't know if you have played SH1 (the really first one I mean, not shattered memories... which is awesome) Harry has less personallity than James XD loll But James is suposed to appear as the good guy whose not suposed to see monsters because he is so good and wants to help everyone and loves everyones, but at the end, he his an asshole who killed his ill wife with a damned pillow! And hided her in the trunk of his car to look for her at Silent Hill the day after he killed her... aaaaaaaaaaaah wut? yeah, that's the story lolll. What else... HA Pyramid Head! Yeah, I'm with the ones who says that he's not suposed to be in this game and I'll tell you why. This vision of the thing is James' only. I wasn't happy to see it either in the movie. Especially because he was not the same and he was there when in the frist place he's not suposed to (just in the first game.... there's no Pyramid Head, and the movie was suposed to be the first game) eum, How can I explain my point of view. Ow, look SH0, they used a 'Pyramid Head' who was not one, the Butcher, and it was alright. Why didn't they use a 'kind of Pyramid Head' instead? The only problem here is the representation. For me at least. And yeah, I was seeing the Pyramid Head thing just as you, but the problem his that it's Pyramid Head. It could have been something else. And the worst in this, it's they called it the Boogyman, not even Pyramid Head. Lol. Anyway. Yeah, Silent Hill is a BIG subject which we could discuss 'till our end XD gasp, what a game! Love it!

XD Your post made my eyes hurt. Yeah. Here is my summary of each Silent Hill Main Character.:
Harry: "Have you seen a little girl around here?" <-- says that about 100 times in the game.
James: "I love my wife, I mean I killed her, no I mean I love her, no wait...."
Heather: "Grr...throw up fetus."
Henry: "..... ._.....What the hell?"
Travis: "I AM A TRUCKER! FEAR ME!"

I refuse to play SH Shattered Memories. I saw the first one with all of its bad graphicness,and I was like yeah, this is WAY better the SM.
I kinda agree with you about Alex needing his own separate monster. Although, Amnion is supposed to be his punishment, so PH isn't really going after him. I think the "Bogeyman" title for him was okay,but they could've given him his own look, y'know?And just name him Bogeyman, which would be an appropriate title considering all of the sacrifices were under 18, except Alex. (who obviously wasn't sacrificed anyways) Even though I can't say I wasn't like "OMG FANGIRL MOMENT" when I saw PH.
If I could draw good enough, I would make my own SHH comic, like REALLY long one. And 'fix' what people say is wrong with it and I'm sorry....ALEX IS ONE SEXY MOFO!

But really, SH Shattered memories' worth it! Like so much, you don't know how (unless you know the final punch... so sad if you do) But yeah. The game is really short and you can do it like 5 times in a day without trowing your remote on the TV screen while crying: "I HATE YOU DEVIL!" so yeah
Yeah. SH forever. I think I might draw some shits of that someday, but now on I'm moar in a Hetalia/Pokemon mood XD eheh, doing some Poketalia shits.
