Quarter-Sawn White Oak, Woven Screen

This nightstand references Mid-Century and Danish Modern design with its low horizontal profile and tapered edges. The legs and bottom rails are treated independently and set at an angle which gives the case the appearance of floating over the ground. Hand crafted construction is revealed by exposing twin wedged through tenons, the “Alan Peters joint”.
