I received a sketch in my email the other day. I believe the title was simply "Quick Sketch" in my inbox. I opened it up and found the first sketch in this photo stack. I LOVED it and emailed my friend mikeboxer2 right away to thank him. I told him about my picture set of Brianna and I in the barn and how the idea of a barn boxing match excites me. Mike wrote me back almost right away and asked if I would like to see a more detailed version of the sketch. Of course I told him "yes" right away. Before long another image arrived and then a note here on DA.....A challenge to play follow the leader. Image two is what Mike sent me as a final product and asked if I wanted to try to recreate it in 3D. If you know nothing else about me you know I never walk away from a challenge so I got right to work on my part of the picture.

Image three was my first attempt at duplicating Mikes sketch. I rendered it right away and sent it off via email and as soon as I hit the send button I wished I hadn't. I loved Mikes sketch so much that I felt I could do better. I studied the pictures together a long time and made a few tweaks like the position of my head and location of my gloves and image four is where I ended up.

mikeboxer2 and I were both really happy with the results and are now talking about continuing our game of follow the leader and this barn bout. We're trying to figure out my opponent and what pose will come next. Stop by Mikes page and give it a look if you haven't already.
